A&N Police Constable Written Test 2016.
The question paper is of 300 marks. The candidates, who qualify in Physical Measurement (PM)/Physical Endurance Test (PET) shall be put through the written examination The paper will be both in English and Hindi. The candidates can opt answering in either language except for the portion of language paper.
The question papers(s) will cover general knowledge, reasoning, simple arithmetic, test on language Hindi ffc English including comprehension, general aptitude and any other topic to check the eligibility of the candidates etc.
Only those candidates who obtain 40% or more marks will be considered qualified in the written test.
The final list of the selected candidates, in order of merit, will be prepared by adding the aggregate scores obtained by candidates in the written test. The fist of selected candidates shall be declared based on merit and number of vacancies notified/existing.
Successful candidates shall be subjected to medical examination as given below:
- Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. The candidate should not have Co our Blindness.
- The candidate must not have k lock knee, flat feet, varicose vein or squint eyes, bow legs, inability to flex the fingers properly or any other obvious deformities.
- The candidates must be in good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects like > to interfere with the efficient performance of Police duties.
- Every candidate shall have to go through a technical examination by GB Pant Hospital Port Blair before appointment.

The candidates who qualify the above mentioned minimum physical standards shall undergo a physical endurance test.

The candidates, who fail to qualify the Physical Endurance Test, will be eliminated at that stage itself from the selection process.
The candidates should bring then original certificates of educational qualification, age proof & category certificate at the time of Physical Measurement (PM)/Physical Endurance Test (PET) for verification.
