CBSE UGC NET JRF Dec 2016 Exam Date is Postponed to 22nd Jan 2017

UGC NET Jan 2017 – The Univeristy Grants Commission has postponed UGC NET/ JRF Dec 2016 written test to 22nd January 2017.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued notice regarding written test date of upcoming UGC NET Dec 2016. The written test dates has been shifted to January 2017. The candidate can download their written test call letter/ admit card in First Week of January 2017.

It is notified that CBSE will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor on 22nd January 2017 (Sunday) at selected cities across India. Detailed notification will be made available on website www.cbsenet.nic.in by 15th October 2016.

Why CBSE UGC NET/ JRF?

The candidates who qualify for University Grants Commission Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor.

The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them. The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor will not be considered for award of JRF.
